Considering the aggregated value the inclusion of these funds might bring to the project, bank BBVA – which controls 75% of Distrito Castellana Norte (DCN), the company that, in its turn, will be in charge of managing the project – is pondering an eventual negotiation of a parcel of the DCN with one of the interested parties, advances EuropaPress this Monday.
The latest negotiation on this matter was with Spanish REIT Merlin Properties, which ended up not reaching an agreement with the bank, recalls the newspaper.
After more than 20 years on the shelf, the project Madrid Nuevo Norte was greenlighted two months ago. And now it follows its path to build around 10.500 dwellings in the North of the Spanish capital, in an investment estimated at 6 billion euro.
