Merlin Properties has signed a turnkey project with DSV for the construction of a logistics warehouse in Cabanillas Park I, located in the Corredor del Henares, one of the main logistics hubs in the Iberian Peninsula thanks to its location on the A-2 and its good connections.
The multinational company specializing in logistics and transportation, DSV, will occupy an area of 44.653 sqm. The warehouse will have 84 loading docks, a floor more than 12 meters high, as well as the highest standards in energy efficiency and sustainability with the aim of achieving LEED Gold certification. This project allows DSV to incorporate the latest technological advances in warehousing systems, which will improve its efficiency and productivity in e-commerce operations.
Following the delivery of this new warehouse, DSV will have a total of 94,446 m² at Cabanillas Park I, as this is the company's second project with Merlin at this park, where the logistics operator has currently occupied a warehouse of almost 50.000 sqm since 2017.
Cabanillas Park I, inaugurated in 2017, has an area of 315.841 sqm of GLA. The state-of-the-art logistics park has clients such as XPO, DSV, Logista, 4PX, Truck&Wheel or Luis Simoes.
Merlin is developing Cabanillas Park II, with more than 210.000 sqm of GLA and direct frontage on the A-2.
