The news was reported by Expansión, which further informed that the unit has 3.048 sqm and will feature 340 coworking spaces, for an additional investment of around 3 million euro. Bank BBVA was responsible for selling this asset.
This space – like the others from the Spanish REIT – will be managed by brand Loom, specialized in this segment. One of the next coworking spaces to open soon will be located at Torre Chamatín in Madrid and it will be the seventh coworking space the REIT will open in the Spanish capital.
Despite this new acquisition, Merlin’s focus for 2020 will be towards adding value to its own current portfolio.
