In order to obtain the financing, Meridia mortgaged the buildings, «including both the plots of land where the construction will take place and any future constructions», it can be read in the release the company sent to Mercado Alternativo Bursátil (MAB).
This project will be developed at number 213 Avenida Nova Icària, which has 43.400 sqm and was acquired in July 2017. According to Spanish newspaper Expansión, this is where Everis’ future headquarters will be located. Besides offices, both buildings should assign around 7.000 sqm for housing.
The same release also revealed that this loan follows the international norm: Green Loan Principles, and UN’s goals for a sustainable development.
