The event starts at 9h30, with the conference “Why Iberia, Why Real Estate, Why REIT’s?”, followed by the session “Are REIT’s the best alternative for long term investors?” at 11h30. The conference “What does ESG mean for REIT’s – A compromise with the society” happens right before lunch, at 12h45, followed by the final remarks and closing of the conference. In the afternoon takes place the EPRA Workshop "New NAV & BPR Guidelines Update".
The Iberian REIT Conference presents itself as an opportunity to get to know how the Portuguese REIT regime (SIGI), which only came into force during last year’s 2nd semester, started out in Portugal and also to anticipate the impact of the expected legal and tax changes on the Spanish SOCIMIs, where this regime is more consolidated. The impact of the new global demands in terms of responsible investment on the REIT market will also be one of the main subjects of discussion.
This is the event’s 3rd edition and it is organized by EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) and by Iberian Property. Find out more about the event here
