"This was the largest investment ever driven by Invest Lisboa in the context of the international promotion strategy of the Lisbon region and was, without a doubt, the most successful one," said Rui Coelho, the executive director of Invest Lisboa, to VI/IP. "We gathered 16 companies and four municipalities in the same stand, and this record accession only would already be a success. But the most important is the good reaction from investors who visit us, which has been excellent," he concluded.
Once again, the Lisbon South Bay brand is one of the main anchors of attraction for this space, gathering the real estate projects and opportunities within the territories managed by the Baía do Tejo society, on the south side and in the municipalities of Barreiro, Seixal and Almada. "The presence at MIPIM is fundamental since it allows us to present face-to-face the projects integrated in the Lisbon South Bay brand to investors from all over the world who gather here. And it has been a growing success from year to year," confirms the chairman of Baía do Tejo's board of directors. The joint efforts between this public entity and the three municipalities on the south side where it has assets, "give us scale and allows us to increase our notoriety with this public", explains Jacinto Pereira, greeting the three mayors "who also wanted to be present". Emphasizing that "success has been growing over the years," the president of Baía do Tejo highlighted the importance of the partnership with Invest Lisboa, "fundamental for the representation of Lisbon to get international scale", promoting the territories under Lisbon South Bay, which "complement the existing offer in the region, by providing assets that Lisbon no longer has to offer".
