This edition will have the special participation of Portuguese Minister of Economy Pedro Siza Vieira, who will reflect on the role real estate will play in the recovery of the Portuguese economy. Extending the recovery to the rest of Europe, it will be important to forecast the possible impact of the measures to be implemented to mitigate the negative effects of the pandemic crisis and which paths to follow in the future. This subject will also be addressed by Carlos Moedas, ex-EU Commissioner for Investigation, Science and Innovation.
This initiative will also address the real estate market’s adjustment to the current situation marked by the pandemic and which opportunities might come up. This session will feature representatives from the main consultants active in Portugal: Eric Van Leuven, Head of Portugal at Cushman & Wakefield, Francisco Horta e Costa, Managing Director Portugal at CBRE and Paulo Silva, Head of Country Portugal at Savills.
The Portuguese housing market will be another theme on discussion, in a session which promises to reflect on where, why and under which models to invest.
