According to Spanish newspaper Eje Prime, the company is already looking for new assets, which can be rehabilitated or built from scratch. In the future, the new student residences’ management will either be carried out by Life or by an outside company.
Its first project in Spain, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya’s student residence at Campus Diagonal- Besòs, will be managed by its subsidiary I Love Barcelona Campus Besòs which was established for that purpose last year. This project, estimated at 14 million euro, has 6.000 sqm and will be able to accommodate 300 students.
Besides Spain, Life also operates in Belgium (where it has its origins), Holland, Poland, South Africa and Cape Verde. According to the same newspaper, Portugal is also under the company’s radar.
