Líbere Hospitality, the urban accommodation manager with a business model based on technology and design, announced today the opening of Líbere Bilbao La Vieja, a building of 9 tourist apartments very close to the Old Quarter of the city. This is its second asset in operation in Bilbao and which, together with the Líbere Vitoria Apartments, brings to 138 the apartments operated by the company. This new opening represents a further step in Líbere's growth strategy and in its goal of becoming a leader in the alternative urban accommodation sector.
This new opening reflects Líbere Hospitality's business model to dismantle the traditional concept of accommodation, with smart spaces, designed and adapted to the needs of the tenant with the aim of making the stay a unique experience.
The asset is owned by All Iron RE I Socimi, a company promoted by entrepreneurs Jon Uriarte and Ander Michelena and listed on BME Growth. Both companies have a preference agreement, without exclusivity, for the exploitation of alternative accommodation properties. In other words, this agreement does not prevent Líbere from also managing properties owned by other owners and the company expects that by 2022 its portfolio will be 50% made up of properties owned by All Iron RE I Socimi and 50% by third parties.
In the heart of Bilbao La Vieja
The building is located on calle Vitoria-Gasteiz, 7, in the heart of the neighborhood known as Bilbao La Vieja and very close to the city's Old Quarter. A few meters from the building there are different tourist places, such as the Bilbao estuary, the Marzana dock or the La Ribera market.
The property consists of 4 floors, in which 4 two-bedroom apartments are distributed, with a space of about 47 sqm and with a maximum capacity for 6 people, and another 4 studios of about 20 sqm and with capacity for 2 people. In addition, it has an attic floor with a ninth apartment, which has a terrace and a bedroom, and which can accommodate 4 people. This last space is adapted to all the needs of people with reduced mobility.
