Among the measures to be implemented is capacity control in real-time using the Shopper Track technology and the constant cleaning and disinfection of common areas. Access lanes and queue management have been set at the stores in order to guarantee social distancing.
The compliance with these measures should be assured by independent consultant SGS, the international specialist in inspecting, verifying, analysing and certifying safety and hygiene measures.
This will the first stage of the shopping centres’ opening process, which should be concluded by the coming 8th of June.
«We have taken extreme caution with our hygiene and sanitary measures and with the accesses’ technological control. We prioritise the safety of our professionals, traders and final clients, with excellent control standards. We will make absolutely sure that our shopping centres are the safest for our workers and visitors», Miguel Pereda, Advisor at Lar España and Grupo Lar’s CEO.
«At this reopening stage, we want to help the client feel comfortable, safe and protected at all times during his visit. Any of the great brands present in each shopping centre will follow the same safety and hygiene measures as any street shop. On the outside of our buildings, we add a safety and hygiene unified management, with wide, air-conditioned, clean and disinfected areas where we can also manage the waiting times to gain access to the shops», assured José Manuel Llovet, general manager at Grupo Lar, who manages exclusively the Lar España’s shopping centres.
