The first official LaLiga and NBA centre will open in the Summer of 2022. The two organisations are finalising the construction of a co-living centre with 42.000 sqm and valued at around 70 million euro. It is the first sport’s training centre in the world for the two organisations and the first European sports co-living, which is at its final execution stage.
The 360º multidisciplinary complex will have football pitches certified by FIFA, a basketball indoor basketball hall with NBA’s seal, swimming pool, dining area, high performance gym, game rooms, library, co-living, auditorium and panoramic terraces, besides its own educational centre.
T3n Sport and Investment, and ColivINN, global co-living operators, property of Fernández and Luengo brothers, will create with this project, the first co-living in Europe directed towards sports athletes. They have the financial support of eGlobal Realty Capital, directed in Spain by Kaho HA, financial advisement from Corporate Finance / M&A from PWC led by partner Gabriel Croissie and real estate advisement from Mediterraneum Consulting. Law firm Pascual de Miguel is responsible for the legal development of the project and the company.
Construction company Sorigue was charged with carrying out this final stage, on which Valencian companies Ecosiona Energía, in energy and facilities and Área de Desarrollo as project manager, also participated.
The project «was conceived with the intent of covering the new needs from elite sport clubs, as well as new training models evolving in an increasingly cross-sectional and global market», according to a release. At the same time, it will serve as a technology hub for the development of projects which will improve sports performance.
It is directed at young athletes between 13 and 23 years old from more than 77 countries, capable of hosting 450 residents, who will complement their sports education with high-school education: international, American and post-graduate, it will also include part of the Laliga Business School.
