It was celebrated a "purchase and sale agreement under which it has settled to sell the plot defined in the Plano de Pormenor (Detail Plan) of Tróia as UNOP 3, for a total amount of €20 million, to the company Lagune Tróia, wholly owned by the Lagune company under French law", it can be read in the statement sent to the CMVM.
At UNOP 3, with an area of 100 hectares, should arise a new tourist project of up to 600 beds, "founded on the development of a luxury resort" that should increase "the quality of the projects to be developed in the region". It will have as reference "the respect for the environmental heritage and natural conditions of the territory and all the surrounding with the rest of the peninsula".
According to Público, it’s in this plot that Club Med, Fosun, is interested in building this project, an investment of about €100 million, presented recently to the City Council of Grândola. It can be read on the website of the local authority that the meeting of the week of June 15 "was for the group to present the architecture project of this new tourism project - resulting from an international competition. All the procedures for the implementation of this excellence project are now in progress".
Specializing in real estate investment in the leisure and health sectors, Lagune has assets under management of €1,500 million in 6 European countries.
