The operation was already known in the market, but the value of the operation had not yet been disclosed. In a statement to the CMVM, Teixeira Duarte "reports that, together with its subsidiary Teixeira Duarte - Gestão de Participações e Investimentos Imobiliários, SA and under an agreement concluded on May 25, 2018", signed on June 28 “a sales agreement of all the capital share of Lagoas Park, SA to a subsidiary of the European private equity fund Kildare (...) in the amount of €375,000,000”, a record number of real estate investment in offices in Portugal.
According to the statement, the operation has a positive impact on the group's results of about €25 million, and allows a reduction of liabilities in the amount of €375 million.
To remember that Lagoas Park includes 13 office buildings with ca. 85,000 m2 of green space and more than 5,000 parking spaces, 12 restaurants, hotel, convention center, health club, public parking, school, or commercial gallery.
