Kronos has acquired new land in the urban development of Los Ahijones, in Madrid, with an area of 526,267 sqm, of which 186,574 sqm are buildable area for a total of 1,419 homes. The purchase of the land has involved an investment of 60 million euros.
Los Ahijones is part of the new developments in the southeast of the city of Madrid. «This acquisition of land confirms that at Kronos we continue betting on the Spanish market and looking for new locations to create residential projects. The new land is also a new opportunity to fulfill our purpose of creating neighborhoods », said Saïd Hejal, CEO of the company.
The manager added that «we want to acquire undeveloped land to contribute to the creation of new neighborhoods in cities in accordance with our philosophy. Quality homes where architecture and design, sustainable spaces and green areas prevail ».
Kronos Homes has 226 homes in the commercialization phase in the Community of Madrid. Specifically, it has three projects in the region: The Collection, located in the capital (Puerta de Hierro); The Valley, in Colmenar Viejo; and Park74, in Torrejón de Ardoz.
In global terms, the developer has 23 projects in commercialization between Spain (Catalonia, Castilla y León, Andalusia, Navarra, Community of Madrid and Valencian Community) and Portugal (Algarve and Lisbon).
