At the end of the month, investment resulting from the Autorização de Residência (Authorisation of Residence) came to a total of 3,000,434,107.62 euros, of which more than 2,700 million euros were used for the purchase of property. This path of investment became more dynamic in March, growing 85% in this term, to a total of 192.4 million euros, almost double the numbers of the previous month. 172 million euros were employed in the purchase of property, and 20.4 million in the transfer of capital.
303 visas were granted in March, almost half of the total of the first three months of the year, 283 of which were destined for the acquisition of property and 5 for investment in urban renewal, according to figures supplied by the DV.
China continues to lead the way in investment, with 3.325 ARI’s up to march, followed by 385 from Brazil, 174 from South Africa, 171 from Russia and 96 from the Lebanon.
