The bet on stock from companies listed in Spain is increasing in tandem with the capital increases carried out during the same period. 53 such operations were carried out, 29% more than last year, which consolidates the companies’ trend to use this market to diversify their funding sources.
This is one of the main conclusions highlighted in the report "Bolsas y Mercado Españoles (BME): Evolución de los Negocios"(Spanish Stock Exchanges and Markets (BME): Business Evolution) concerning the first semester of 2019 and released this week by Mercado Alterativo Bursátil (MAB).
The Spanish real estate sector has seen a «rising curve» which was reflected at MAB, the Spanish secondary Stock Exchange, which welcomed 4 new companies during this period alone, and 7 more during the month of July alone. Amongst these last companies to enter MAB are: REIT Torimbia, 4 REITs owned by Inbest, Trivium and La Finca.
BME’s systems – which incorporate all of Spain’ Stock Exchanges and financial markets – already registers a total 78 REITs listed at the Stock Exchanges.
