The report also highlights the growing attractiveness of assets in the High Street retail segment, especially commercial spaces dedicated to fashion and bank branches, which received 1.700 million euro in their best year since 2008 (70% more than in 2017) and represented 38% of retail investment.
The Cushman & Wakefield study predicts a 2019 of solid investment activity, marked by the rotation of the REITs’ portfolios and operations from funds and all the other players such as insurance companies and pension funds.
