Sintra Retail Park, Forum Sintra and Forum Montijo changed hands. The information is in a statement from the Competition Authority, according to which the acquisition was made through Tiekenveen BV, of the French group Auchan, which will have «exclusive control over four entities of the Blackstone Group». In addition to the shopping centers, it includes the company Glorirequinte - Investimentos Imobiliários, S. A., manager of the hypermarket area of Forum Montijo.
The value of the business has not yet been disclosed, but Negócios newspaper estimates that the acquisition was made for about €400 million.
The Almada Forum does not have a buyer yet, and is valued at around €450 million, according to the same source.
