Despite the predictable decelaration of the tourism activity and economic growth in 2019, Tinsa estimates that the hotel assets will keep increasing its value moderately, up to 5% on average with the 5* hotels, and around 2% in the 4* and 3* hotels.
Analysis of the average value per room (average value of an asset calculated from the admissions and expenses with the business, divided by the number of rooms) is around 171.625 €/room for 5* hotels in 2018 in Spain, around 33% more than the 4* hotels (128.604 €/room) and double the 83.217 €/room registered on average in 3* hotels last year.
