The building bought by the Socimi in Madrid is located at number 96 on Calle Santa Engracia, the Chamberí district, and the company's plans are to demolish it to build 14 new-storey homes with an area of just over 1000 sqm.
In Barcelona, Home Capital has acquired a plot of land in the Les Corts district, at 165 Numancia street, to build 8 homes and a commercial premises with a surface area of 900 sqm.
Both operations, which were financed with the company's own resources, do not quantify the construction costs. Currently, the company has three operational buildings, one in remodeling works and two more in the phase of obtaining licenses for their reform. To this, the last two acquisitions must be added. In total, it has 121 residential units in different phases of development.
«Home Capital is in the phase of analysis and negotiation of various opportunities in Madrid and Barcelona in accordance with its strategy, which would allow it to increase the number of assets in its portfolio in the coming months», the company told BME Growth.
