The three star hotel is located at Madrid’s secondary area, at number 11 Paseo de Europa in the municipality of San Sebastián de los Reyes. NH will keep managing the 99 room hotel, according to El Economista.
This is SB Hotels’ first operation in Madrid and, according to the Spanish newspaper, it is also the first operation the company carries out outside Catalonia. Consultant Deloitte was charged with advising the transaction.
Next year, SB Hotels plans to refurbish the building – including the rooms and the common areas –, in order to improve the clients’ experience, explains the newspaper.
