According to daily newspaper Eje Prime, the refurbishment also included the unification of the building with the Maestro Victoria 5 building – where hotel Carlos V used to be. The building now has, not only a 2.700 sqm retail area, but also a hotel – which should be operating under brand Chic and Basic – and 50 apartments.
The marketing of this retail space will be carried out by consultant Savills Aguirre Newman, according to the same newspaper.
The American asset management company reached a deal with the Grupo Baraka group in 2017 to buy the two buildings for 100 million euro.
