This will be the amount the company will use to construct 200 new dwellings in Madrid and in municipalities close to Barcelona, using the latest technology in construction. Negotiations are advancing at a steady pace and at least one operation should be concluded before the end of the year, revealed El Economista this Tuesday.
This alternative segment, now growing in Spain, is not new for Hines, since the American management company has already invested in projects of the same type in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Offices and Logistics under the spotlight
Besides this project, Hines also has its sights set on other real estate segments within the country. Logistics is one of them. Last month the American management company closed its first operation within this segment in Spain with Allegra, by paying 20 million euro for 2 assets located in the Spanish capital.
The office segment is also under the company’s radar. According to the same newspaper, Hines has already started searching the market, focusing on core buildings with added value located in the main Spanish cities: Madrid and Barcelona.
