The terrain was purchased from Toys R Us Iberia, which will occupy part of the new logistic complex as a tenant. With this operation, it will update its facilities, which will keep holding at this location the company’s only logistic distribution platform for the entire Iberian Peninsula, as well as its central offices.
The terrain’s development will be focused on its flexibility, which will allow the entry of future tenants wishing to benefit from the closeness to Madrid, as well as the advantages of a modern and sustainable construction.
Grupo Lar will bet on the BREEAM sustainable construction certificate, reducing the buildings’ energetic footprint and generating economic and environmental benefits for the complex’s future tenants.
This operation is the third logistic operation from the joint venture created last year by Grupo Lar and private investment firm Centerbridge to develop state of the art logistic warehouses. This is the largest operation so far.
