The building is located at number 1 Rua do Proletariado and it will have a new name: Joyn HQ. It has a total area of 5.300 sqm, of which 3.200 sqm are spread across two office floors and 2.100 sqm are taken by a floor for storage.
According to consultant JLL, which took part in this operation on behalf of the former owner, around 1.700 sqm in office spaces are available for rent. The new occupants may share several areas of the building with the group, such as the reception, waiting room, four meeting rooms for outside guests, a 400 sqm scullery/canteen, a small auditorium for meet-ups and a small area for exercise.
On this operation, Mariana Rosa, Head of Office & Logistics Agency & Transaction Manager at JLL, commented that «in an absolutely unique approach to the market, the Joyn HQ building is the reflection of its owner-occupant and it is intended for it to attract companies which share its mind-set: open, collaborative and communal.
