The company’s goal is to, according to Eje Prime, reach 2.000 beds in the next three years, thus strengthening its presence in the Spanish market.
«We are analyzing interesting cities from the students’ point of view», comments Juan Acosta, Greystar managing director for Spain. The company is, right now, looking for new investment opportunities in other Spanish cities, besides Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga, where it currently intends to consolidate investments.
The possibility of expanding the business across the border is also on the table. Between 2021 and 2022, Greystar plans to invest on what will be its first student residence in Portugal.
