Although the works have not yet begun, the delivery of these units is scheduled for 2022. The units will have one or two bedrooms and several common areas, such as a swimming pool and gym.
In this sense, in December it was published that a Greystar Real Estate Partners company had been awarded a plot in Valdebebas, located on Félix Candela street, which has about 5,500 sqm of surface. This could be the ground where the company is going to build one of these projects.
Other operations
At the end of 2020, the investment manager Greystar closed an asset purchase and sale transaction for the joint venture it owns with the investment arm of Axa and CBRE Global Investors. Specifically, the joint venture bought four student residences, of which three are still in the development phase, and only one, located in Madrid, is finished. In total, the four assets add up to a total of 1,100 beds.
The giant of student residences in Spain has dozens of assets of this type, spread over the Community of Madrid, Catalonia, Navarra, Andalusia, the Valencian Community and the Basque Country, among others.
