In the note issued by the AC, it is stated that the position is favorable to the operation involving the companies Tiekenveen Holding, Forum Montijo, Glorirequinte, Multi 25 and Sintra Retail Park. AC «(...)deliberates to adopt a decision not to oppose the present merger, (...) since this is not liable to create significant impairments to effective competition in the identified markets».
These three assets are valued at around €400 million, according to sources consulted by the Negócios newspaper. They are part of a portfolio of 4 shopping centers that Blackstone has put on the market in Portugal, which also include the Almada Forum, valued at €450 million, which should be purchased by Spain's Merlin Properties.
