The 46.000 sqm development, includes cross-dock facilities and a multilevel logistic warehouse, which will be the first two level development by Goodman in Spain, with more than 10 metres of clearance height for each of them.
DSV Group was looking for a partner with the ability to develop facilities to integrate its logistic business segment, DSV Solutions and its transportation segment, DSV Road, in the same space. Goodman’s solution contemplates the development of two connected buildings: a 14.000 sqm facility for the transportation area and a second 32.000 sqm multilevel building for the logistic business.
The first facility to be developed by Goodman will be for DSV Road: 14.000 sqm which will increase its operational capability with a customized cross-dock solution. The completion date is expected to be December 2019. The second development, the multilevel warehouse for DSV Solutions, is expected to be finished by April 2020.
This is Goodman’s eighth development in the Barcelona region, which will be added to the 105.000 sqm developed in the last two years.
