87.8 million euros were used in the purchase of property and 11.68 million in the transfer of capital, as shown in the numbers from the Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras. 155 visas were granted, as opposed to 221 in January, 143 for the purchase of real estate (5 for urban renewal), 11 for capita; transfer and 1 for the creation of a minimum of 10 jobs.
From the beginning of the year, 376 ARIs have been granted. From the beginning of the programme, investment already totals 2,807 million euros, of which 2,530 million euros were for the acquisition of property, a total of 4,578 authorisations.
After China, Brazil is the origin from which most visas are granted, followed by Russia, with 167, South Africa, with 156 and the Lebanon with 88 visas. All these countries invested via “golden visas” in February.
