The logistic park will consist of a large warehouse with 150.000 sqm combined with two smaller warehouses which will be developed through a hybrid format of speculative and custom-made development construction.
The buildings will follow the standard determined by certification BREEAM Very Good. The logistic park will also be equipped with photovoltaic technology to generate energy and thermal panels, amongst other sustainable equipment.
Óscar Heras, country director at GLP Spain, explained that they worked «more than two years, with authorities and our partners, to convert an unfinished industrial area into a unique logistic area». Nevertheless, he added that the new park will be fit for any logistic project, regardless of size or height.
According to GLP, this will be the logistic centre closest to Madrid, 32 km away, with two direct accesses to motorway A-42 and a connection with motorway AP-41, road R-4 and motorways CM-41 and CM-43.
