One of them was Santander Small Caps which sold 1.23% of its share in Renta Corporación reducing it from 3.55% to 2.32%. Another such case was Brandes Investment Partners which sold 2% of its share in REIT Lar España. With this operation, Brandes reduced its share in 2,94%, revealed newspaper Expansión this Wednesday.
These two real estate companies have been registering significant drops in the Madrid Stock Exchange. Lar España reached 4 euro per share this Monday, a 44% decrease when compared to the end of last year. Renta Corporación had an even greater drop, around 47% between the same two periods. On Monday it reached a 4-year record low at 1.67 euro per share and the trend is to drop even more.
