Group Endutex laid the first stone for the construction of hotel Moov Lisboa, at Parque das Nações, which will represent a 10 million euro investment.
Expected to open in 2022, the new Moov Oriente is intended to be a «practical, comfortable and affordable accommodation solution for work and leisure travellers». It will be the group’s 5th unit in Portugal and it will feature 180 rooms.
André Ferreira, Endutex’s administrator, considered this to be a strategic option, «since within this area, known for the intense movement from passengers arriving from the airport, but also from the railway station and buses, demand is higher than the offer. On the other hand, we feel there is a lack of solutions at a fair price and we want to feel that void».
Also, in the Lisbon area, the new Moov Oeiras from group Endutex is already operational, with 115 quartos and located near Lagoas Park and Taguspark.
The group is also preparing to reinforce its international presence, with the construction of a second Moov in Brazil, in Porto Alegre, at the iconic Cinema ASTOR. The new hotel is almost finished and it will have 149 rooms.
Recognising the moment of great challenges for the hotel segment, caused by the pandemic, group Endutex reiterated its confidence in the future and will keep following its growth strategy. André Ferreira advanced that «we have several projects for this segment, but not just to open new hotels, but especially to introduce new accommodation concepts, which will soon be announced. Our clients are different, which makes it very important to rethink strategies, improve concepts and prepare the future of hospitality».
