Throughout the first months of 2017, 31.524 m² of office space were let in Lisbon. Of these, 13.592 m² were negotiated in February, showing a 40% growth compared to the same month of the previous year. With a total of 14 transactions with an average area of 971m², JLL also highlights the conclusion of two business negotiations involving areas of more than 2,000 m²: 4.900 m² in Lagoas Park by Janssen Cilag and the change of installations of Future Healthcare to an area of 2,300 m² in the property Campo Grande 6.
In geographical terms, in the first two months of 2017, the most active zone in Lisbon was the Prime CBD, with 33% of total occupied area, closely followed by the Corredor Oeste, with 30% of the total. Looking at demand, the sectors “Consultants and Lawyers”, “Financial Services” and “Pharmaceuticals and Health” were very similar in the degree of take up space, being 23%, 22% e 20% respectively.
