According to sources close to the operation heard by EjePrime, Deka divided this portfolio into three parts. The first refers to two properties that will remain in its possession, namely the number 16 of Calle Preciados in Madrid, with more than 2,700 m2 of commercial area, and the number 58 of Calle Pelayo in Barcelona with 5,134 m2. It will also keep the store it purchased in Rua Augusta, in Lisbon.
The remaining assets should be sold, being located mainly in secondary cities of Spain, like Zamora, Albacete or Ciudad Real.
Deka's goal is to double its investment volume in Spain from €1 to €2 billion over the next five years.
