The information is advanced by Spanish daily newspaper Eje Prime this Tuesday, which further recalls that within the last five years alone, the REIT spent 2.700 million euro in purchases. Its latest acquisition was 45% of Torre Marenostrum building, located in the Catalonian capital. Up until now the amount Colonial paid Naturgy for the asset was not disclosed, but it is known that its portfolio has already reached 11.798 million euro.
But to keep following this growth strategy within the Spanish real estate market, the company should keep rotating mature and non-strategic assets, since this is the procedure that generates resources to carry out new investments. The sale of the logistic portfolio to Prologis for 425 million euro is part of this strategy.
