Pere Viñoles, the company’s CEO, assured Spanish newspaper Eje Prime that the deal is «advancing satisfactorily» and that it should be Colonial’s largest deal this year. According to the Eje Prime, this process should be concluded within the next 2 months.
GreenOak, Segro, REIT P3 Logistic Parks, and Goodman are some of the companies that presented proposals to buy this portfolio.
The 12 logistic assets included in this portfolio are spread out through Barcelona, Madrid and Seville and, according to the same newspaper, have a total combined area of 574.462 sqm. These buildings – which were inherited from Axiare – were placed on the market last March.
For the next 4 years, the REIT should follow a different strategy, investing around 1.300 million euro in the development of 14 new projects.
