The acquisition was carried out through PNI Portugal, SA, one of the companies owned by Claude Berda in Portugal, along with developer Vanguard Properties. According to Eco, the operation was closed for around 800.000 euro, capital increase included.
Entrepreneur Florence Ricou remains a reference shareholder, maintaining the 69.89% share of the company he already had.
Insula currently has a portfolio under management estimated at 120 million euro, which includes the OIC Foz do Tejo, owned by Vanguard Properties and a closed investment fund, Capital Real I, also a closed investment fund and Mexto Property Investment I, a fixed capital real estate investment firm.
In a release sent by Insula Capital, quoted by Expresso, Florence Ricou advanced that the company will «significantly increase this amount, in the next two years, benefiting from the solidity of the company’s new capital structure». Its strategy is to «identify and mobilise real estate investors by offering them investment options adapted to their needs».
