The company takes part in the GRESB since 2011, and this year it was awarded 15 distinctions in Europe, two in America and three in the APAC region.
Both the Dutch Office Fund and the CBRE Retail Property Fund Ibérica were awarded as Regional Sector Leaders and General Regional Sector Leaders, reaching the highest score within its group (based on the combination of the nature of the property, region and sector), showing its outstanding leadership in terms of sustainability.
Aleksandra Njagulj, in charge of ESG at CBRE Global Investors, commented: «the PRI and GRESB results are good indicators of the global quality of the ESG implementation within the company and on its investment products. These are the most thorough assessment instruments available to the industry for assessing the performance level in terms of sustainability when investing in real estate assets and to identify areas of improvement. At CBRE Global Investors, sustainability is a fundamental part of our business strategy, because we want to offer first rate investment results. Therefore, a good ESG performance is but one of those results».
