The annual contracting in Madrid exceeded 610,000m², the highest number in the last decade, while Barcelona reached 350,000 m².
In that regard, CBRE announces that it has closed a historic 2017 in the office sector, leading the intermediation of the operations of this market in both capitals. In total, the real estate consultant reports that it has transacted more than 150 operations between both cities that represent around 285,000 m2, which represents a market share of 30%.
According to CBRE, the cycle will continue to evolve positively at least in the next 24 months, with an upward trend in rents in which an increase of around 14% is expected until the end of 2019 in Madrid, and 8% in the case from Barcelona.
