The fund manager currently has a 250 million euro portfolio of assets under management in Spain, divided between Madrid, Barcelona and Pamplona. It has 1.000 dwellings under management, a number which shoud double this year with this 200 million euro investment.
In the student residence segment alone, the company predicts to invest between 30 and 60 million euros this year, adding 3 or 4 new residences to the Spanish market, according to EjePrime.
The senior residences will be the company’s new bet in Spain, but it is a less developed sector than the others. In France, the fund manager already has 6 residences, in a 130 million euro investment.
