Of the new offer predicted for next year, 164.746 sqm will be available for rental and correspond to a total of nine assets, while the new offer predicted for 2020 corresponds to new projects already signed by logistic operators which foresees an increase in new high risk projects, according to the conclusions from Savills Aguirre Newman. Like this year, the spotlight will be on land and investment operations, from foreign funds.
During 2018, the catalan logistic market had 459.112 sqm added to its offer, 8.5% more than the previous year. The “e-commerce” operators have become consolidated as market drivers in the logistic sector in Catalonia, as is the case of electronic commerce multinational Vente Privee with the renting of almost 50.000 sqm in the third industrial belt.
