Carrefour is the majority shareholder. On the one hand, Carmila, the bigger of the two, created a year ago from the former Carrefour Properties and known as SIIC, similar to the socimis. The resulting company, which will be under the SIIC tax regime, will take the name of Carmila and will be listed in Paris.
According to news from the Spanish Real Estate, the gross value of the society’s assets resulting form the merger, GAV, will rise to 5,300 million euros.
In the new company, Carrefour will count on 42.4% of the capital, while the big institutional investors will have 55.3%, and the 2.3% will be in the hands of managers such as UBS and Primonial as Cardety shareholders.
