According to EjePrime, the French company will build here a 5-star hotel with the Accor Hotels insignia, in an investment of €20 million (in addition to the acquisition) to renovate the property. This will be the first Sofitel in Seville.
The same source says that the sale of this building is a new step in the process of financial restructuring of Abengoa, the Spanish multinational that left the building in 2009 when it moved to its current headquarters in Palmas Altas.
