One of the hotels is the 4-star Axel Atocha Madrid, which was inherited by the American giant when they acquired Hispania. This hotel is located at the centre of Madrid, at number 49 in Atocha street and it has 88 rooms.
The other two three-star hotels, the NH Madrid Sur and the NH Sebastián de los Reyes, are part of the IH Partners portfolio, a company that was also acquired by Blackstone. The NH Madrid Sur has 62 rooms and the NH Sebastián de los Reyes has 88, according to Eje Prime.
This divestment fits the goal defined by Blackstone for the next few years: to keep its focus only on hotels destined for holidays.
