This figure supposes that the sellers evaluated the company that has more than 10,000 houses under lease in €1,895 million, according to the information given by Merlin to the CNMV, quoted by El País.
Testa informs that shareholders representing more than 99% of the capital received a binding offer to purchase shares, being that Merlin has entered €321,2 million for its 17% in the company, while BBVA has entered €478 million for its 25.2%. Santander, on the other hand, has only sold 7.82% of the 36.9% it had for less than €150 million. Acciona, which holds 20%, did not participated in this operation.
