According to Spanish newspaper Eje Prime, the transformation of this building located at Paça Catalunya should improve its 26.000 sqm and 13 floor area’s layout and thus meet the institution’s current operational needs.
In order to execute this operation – which should extend until 2023 -, Banco de España is bidding the contract to refurbish the asset. There are already, according to the same newspaper, 7 construction companies being considered.
