The information was disclosed in a statement this Monday, according to which Eurofund and Baupost, current owners, will continue to be partners in the reconversion project of this shopping center, which should become a shopping resort, an investment that has already started and should add up to €50 million.
AXA operated on behalf of clients. Baupost will continue to be development manager and Eurofund the operator until conclusion of the renovation of the center, advances AXA.
Dolce Vita Tejo attracts 15 million visitors every year, and is the second largest shopping and leisure center in Portugal. With 800 m², it is occupied at 90%, in a total of 274 stores.
At this moment, the restoration area of the center is already almost reconverted. In the coming months, there will open new leisure facilities, such as a water park, games and virtual reality, among others. Some of the frontings of the operators will also be remodeled, and a new entrance will be created with greater visibility and better access.
