The building is located next to Praça do Marquês de Pombal and Parque Eduardo VII, it has 1.700 sqm above ground and the potential to expand to up to 2.500 sqm. It retains the same characteristics since it was built in 1930.
The seller was represented by CBRE. Miguel Paiva Couceiro, Capital Markets – Development Properties Director at the consultant, remarked that «the city of Lisbon’s real estate market remains rather active, with some reference buildings being traded. This was one more successful negotiation of one of the city’s referential buildings, showing CBRE’s ability to identify all types of buyers, from developers to owner-occupiers».
And he added: «the building will thus gain a new life, incorporating a grand auditorium where the AFL will carry out its training sessions and general assemblies.
