Among the features of the assets to be acquired, sources from Arrow told Eje Prime that they prefer industrial areas with between 10.000 sqm and 20.000 sqm. And, concerning their location, the preference is for cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao and Malaga.
With this investment, before the end of the year, Arrow should reach a portfolio estimated at one billion euro. Its great goal is to «double the business in one year», reveals the company’s CEO Christian Bearman to the same newspaper.
More than half the way towards the goal has already been covered. Arrow currently holds a portfolio with more than a thousand assets of this type, estimated at 750 million euro. The more than 5 million sqm in logistic areas came under its management after the company closed a deal with fund Cerberus in March.
Besides its bet on the logistic sector, the asset management company also intends to expand its investments to the office market. In this sector, Arrow should bet on rehabilitating «well located» assets, so as to increase their value and, consequently, their future rents.
